On behalf of Sankofa Fine Art Plus and its Board of Directors, I would like to extend my deepest thanks and appreciation to you for your support in 2011.

Sankofa strives to expand its available resources to create opportunities for ethnic artists to shine in mainstream venues through increased exposure, education and partnerships.

Some of our major accomplishments for 2011 include:

• Project Room 209~Mural Project, “Identity” created by Donald Black, CSA Alum and six art students from The Cleveland School of the Arts.
• Youth Art Program- Art creation for 6^th and 7^th graders at Marcus Garvey Academy to improve test taking abilities.
• Cleveland Hopkins Airport-CLE Temporary Art Exhibit Program featured 16 artist of various ethnic backgrounds and displayed works of various medium in Concourse A
• Student mural project collaboration between Cleveland Public School and Fifth Third Bank instructed by visual artist Neal Hamilton
• Participated in the Beachwood Art Council Diversity Art Fest
• 11^th Cleveland Fine Art EXPO highlighting  25 local and national artists along with featured artist and illustrator Kadir Nelson
• Participated in the Call & Post 95^th Anniversary Celebration

We would like to expand some of our programs in 2012 such as youth art programs, artist development series, and public art projects.
