Annual Fundraiser Featuring Prominent Women Who Love to Cook for a Worthy Cause

This event was initiated to support the activities and on-going programs of Sankofa Fine Art Plus, a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization that is dedicated to the education, preservation and distribution of “Fine Ethnic Art.” “Women Cookin’ for the Arts” feature almost 30 women leaders who prepare their favorite dishes for the public to sample. Judges are prominent males from the community.

This year we are proud to feature Loretta Paganini as the Celebrity Chef. Chef Paganini brings her years of expert culinary experience and a flare for Italian flavor. In 1989 she opened The Loretta Paganini School of Cooking in Chesterland, Ohio and in 2002, received approval as the first privately owned “professional culinary school” in Ohio. Chef Paganini has appeared nationally on CBS This Morning and PBS, a national video for Weight Watchers Corporation and in January 2007 became the regular weekly guest chef on WKYC’s Good Company. She has won numerous awards and is the author of three cookbooks including Bologna Mia, Cooking Thyme, and A Passion for Cooking.

Attendees will also enjoy a new healthy cooking pavilion by sponsor The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Their station will feature Cleveland Clinic’s Executive Chef Jim Perka.

In addition, guests will enjoy live entertainment and a phenomenal silent auction.
