Since incorporating in 1999, Sankofa Fine Art Plus has grown to include various programs to help achieve its mission and goals. Sankofa recognizes the importance of the arts and the role they play in the growth and development of our children and economy.
That’s why Sankofa provides programming that encourages positive self-expression while challenging the intellect. Participants will learn about ethnic art, contemporary and traditional art.

Youth Art Program is for school – aged children to encourage
positive creative expression through ethnic-inspired visual art. This program can be held on-site or in-house and targets schools, social service agencies, churches and other community based groups.
